“Composition”
Prolixir S20 This patent-pending dimer tri-peptide specifically targets the Ubiquitin-Proteasome (Ub-P) system, detoxifying skin cells by removing damaged proteins. Prolixir S20 works by degrading damaged or useless proteins, preventing the accumulation of potentially toxic proteins. The result is a decrease in skin wrinkles and improved skin tonicity.
Bamboo stem powder Bamboo herbs grows in Asia. The extract has powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, helping to improve circulation and protect blood vessels. The active principles are lactones, polysaccharides, amino acids, mineral traces and flavonoids.
Chamomile extract Found in parts of Europe and Asia, chamomile flower extract is naturally rich in properties that reduce erythema, and help soothe irritated, inflamed or sensitive skin.
Vitamin E This powerful antioxidant has soothing properties which improve skin healing and provide essential moisture.
Sweet almond oil This lightweight oil is rich in unsaturated fats and essential fatty acids which are easily absorbed into the skin. The pale yellow oil is pressed from raw almond kernels and benefits all skin types; it is rich in minerals and vitamins A, B1, B2, B6 and E, relieves dryness, itching and inflammation and helps prevent moisture loss while nourishing and protecting the epidermal layer.
Glycerin This essential ingredient hydrates the skin and helps it retain the all-important moisture.
Green tea extract Green tea is known to be 200 times more powerful than vitamin E for neutralising free radicals. The EGCC in green tea is effectively absorbed into the skin where it helps reduce inflammation in and has a powerful action on collagenase (a collagen-reducing enzyme that breaks down collagen). The methylxanthines contained in green tea also stimulate skin microcirculation, which helps improve skin tone and texture.
Bladderwrack seaweed Revitalises, firms and balances the natural moisture levels. It is abundant in 60 trace elements and over 12 minerals; especially mineral salts, amino acids, calcium, folic acid, zinc, magnesium, iodine, pantothenic acid, niacin and vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B12, E and K. It’s known to nourish, hydrate, promote cellular regeneration and re-mineralise the skin.
Olive oil Used as a skincare produce for thousands of years, olive oil penetrates deep into the skin, providing skin comfort and moisture. It softens and soothes dry skin, and has excellent anti-inflammatory properties. It also contains Vitamin A, E and phenols which have antioxidant properties.
Irish moss extract Irish moss is found on the Atlantic coast of both Europe and North America. The plant has nearly 10% of protein and about 15% of mineral matter, and is rich in iodine and sulphur. The extract deeply moisturises to soothe and protect the skin’s epidermal layer. It treats even the most unmanageable skin problems, including eczema, psoriasis, rashes and sunburns. It also nourishes and protects the skin from environmental elements.
Red tea Red tea comes from the mountains of South Africa where it has been used for many centuries. It contains a powerful antioxidant – Super Oxide Dismutase (SOD) – an enzyme that protects against oxidative damage. It functions as a prime scavenger of free radicals and has strong anti-inflammatory properties. Red tea lessens the appearance of many skin imperfections – including brown spots and fine lines and wrinkles.
Bergamot oil This refreshing, essential oil comes from a small citrus fruit originating and grown mainly in Italy, with a distinctive citrus scent of oranges and lemons. The oil has antiseptic, antibiotic properties which promote skin healing. It also uplifts and stimulates the senses, helping to relieve stress.
